How to Get the Most Out of Your Nail Appointment

A great nail appointment is a bit of a team effort, and a few small things on your side make the whole visit smoother and the result better. None of this is essential, but if you like to be prepared, here is how.

Before you arrive, have a think about the look you want. You do not need the perfect words, a saved picture or two says more than a paragraph ever could. If you are between ideas, note down a colour you love or an occasion you are dressing for and we will take it from there. Deciding roughly what you want before you sit down means more of your appointment is spent creating and less is spent scrolling.

Come with clean hands and, if you can, spare a few minutes at the start to settle in. If you are wearing a previous set or old polish, leave it to us rather than removing it at home, because how a set comes off matters for the health of your natural nail. Arriving a little early also means you are not rushing, which is half the point of a salon visit in the first place.

During your appointment, speak up. If a shape is not quite right, if a colour looks different under our lights, or if you would like a little more length taken off, tell us while we work. It is far easier to adjust as we go than to fix it afterwards, and we genuinely want you to leave loving your nails.

Afterwards, give the set a day of gentle treatment and keep that cuticle oil handy. Book your next visit before you leave if you can, especially around holidays and events when we get busy, so you always have a spot in the diary.
